Ford CEO Jim Farley Warns China Could “Put Us All Out of Business”

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Ford CEO Jim Farley said:

“They have enough capacity in China with the existing factories to serve the entire North America market, put us all out of business.”

Farley called Chinese-made electric vehicles “an existential threat” to the U.S. auto industry and said Ford is pivoting to smaller, more affordable EVs to compete.
